Privacy statement by Acolada

This data protection guide sets out the approach adopted with regard to the collection and use of personal data via the website www.acolada.de.

The guide should let you know what personal data has been collected (e.g. your correct name), how this data will be used, with whom this data might be shared, what options you have to influence how this data is collected, used and shared, which security procedures are used by the firm to protect the data it controls from being lost, misused or altered, and how you can correct any errors within the data.

Acolada never rents or sells user data, which it has obtained via its website, to third parties.

We at Acolada want to safeguard the trust that you have placed in us. We assure you that any information, which you volunteer to us, shall be dealt with in a responsible and professional manner. In accordance with the statutory provisions, we only collect, process and use the data which we need to honour our commitments to our customers.

Any further use of personal data for other purposes – to improve the marketing of our products, for example, or to satisfy our customers’ needs and keep them informed etc. – shall only take place if you give us your express consent. In this context, we should like to draw express attention to the fact that you are entitled to inspect the personal data we hold on you at any time.

The data required for processing the transaction shall be stored and, if necessary, passed on to associated companies as part of the order's processing. So as to be able to process your order, we need your name, billing address, telephone number, e-mail address and delivery address.
This data will be used by us to execute your order. Should you have any queries, we will generally try to contact you by e-mail. We will only call you is this proves impossible, or if the time frame is too tight. If you give us your consent, we will send you information on developments or special offers, which we think might be of interest to you. Unsubscribing/ declining
We collect, process and use personal data only if we are entitled to by law or if you have given us your consent. Furthermore, we continually offer you the opportunity to decline further communications from Acolada (Katrin Stoll). The e-mails from Acolada (Katrin Stoll) likewise contain instructions for unsubscribing.
You have the opportunity to delete your customer account at any time. Please specify which personal information should be deleted and describe in your e-mail which type of communications you have received from us. E-mails on this subject should be sent to: info@acolada.de.

Data that is collected automatically

Katrin Stoll is also currently reviewing the use of monitoring software in order to prevent the illegal downloading of Katrin Stoll software via countries that are subject to trade embargoes. The relevant countries are listed as part of the foreign trade and payments provisions enacted by the Federal Republic of Germany and the European Union. In order to prevent any loss, misuse or alteration of the data controlled by Acolada, the firm uses appropriate physical, electronic and organisational procedures to safeguard and secure the data it collects online. Acolada aims to ensure that your data is always safe. The buyer consents to our electronically storing the personal data transmitted by him. We are entitled to pass on the information necessary for processing the order to third parties engaged by us for the execution of the contract. Our encryption technique involves the use of an SSL certificate (123 by Thawte) with RSA 1024-bit and Triple-DES 112/168-bit encryption.
