Acolada UniLex

Since 1996 dictionaries now appear in the UniLex series. The dictionary of Engineering and Technology of Richard Ernst marked the starting point of a dictionary series which has developed into one of the leading electronic dictionary series. Today more than 30 dictionary titles from renowned publishers are available on CD-ROM or online.

The dictionaries

  • All dictionaries in UniLex are compatibly with one another and and can be searched simultaneously in a common user interface.
  • UniLex is a platform which is independent from individual publishers but brings togehter leading dictionaries from renowned publishing houses from all of Europe.
  • Today UniLex covers not only a multitude of specialty areas and languages but allows also different types of acces and usage (CD-ROM, online, etc.).

Licensing

In the age of the Internet you may license dictionaries not only on CD-ROM or as network licenses. We also offer on-line subscriptions or the browser-based intranet applications UniLex IDS.

We are happy to advise you which licensing is the most favorable for you.

Technology and dictionaries update

Would you like to update an older version of a dictionary with the newest edition? For many of our dictionaries you will find attractive offers to acquire an update license with favourable conditions of purchase. You will find information on updates and conditions at the description of the individual dictionary (cf. also our dictionary overview).

Would you like to update your UniLex dictionary software for new operating systems? In the download section you will find update versions for your UniLex software. All UniLex updates can be dowloaded free of charge.

You may equally download the full version of UniLex or UniLex Pro free of charge. You can thus upgrade to the latest software version and to new operating systems also with older dictionary versions.
